Privacy Policy

Big Fish Tech LLC d/b/a LiveFrame (“LiveFrame,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We currently focus on customers in the United States.

1. Your LiveFrame does not watch you

We want to be clear up front: the LiveFrame device does not contain a camera or microphone that records you. It displays live and recorded content streamed from third-party sources (such as public outdoor webcams). The device does not capture, record, or transmit video or audio of you, your home, or your surroundings. The information we collect is the account, order, and basic usage information described below.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly and information collected automatically when you use our site, device, or services.

Information you provide (typically at checkout or account creation):

  • Name
  • Shipping and billing address
  • Email address (and optional phone number)
  • Sign-in credentials (managed through Firebase Authentication)
  • Payment information (processed by Stripe — we do not store full card numbers)
  • Messages you send us for support or other requests

Information collected automatically:

  • Log data (IP address, browser or device type, pages or content viewed, timestamps)
  • Basic device and usage data needed to operate and improve the service (for example, which feeds are displayed and general performance data)
  • Cookies and similar technologies for basic site functionality and analytics (see Section 8)

3. How we use your information

  • Process and fulfill orders, provide customer support, and manage your account
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve our products and services (including the cloud and Firebase services we use)
  • Send transactional messages (order confirmations, shipping updates, account and service notices)
  • Send optional marketing emails if you opt in (you can unsubscribe at any time)
  • Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security issues
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights

4. Payment processing

Payments are handled by Stripe. Stripe receives the payment information you enter and processes it on our behalf under its own privacy terms. We only receive limited information (for example, the last four digits of the card and the payment status) needed for records and support.

5. Accounts & authentication

We use Firebase Authentication (and the broader Firebase ecosystem from Google) to manage user accounts, authentication, and related app services. Your login credentials and certain usage data are handled through Firebase under its security standards.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We disclose information only to:

  • Service providers who help us run the business — for example, hosting and cloud infrastructure (including Google/Firebase), payment processing (Stripe), analytics, shipping, and email delivery. They may use the data only to perform services for us.
  • Authorities or others when required by law, to enforce our terms, to protect our rights and the safety of others, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.

7. Third-party content & links

LiveFrame displays content from third-party sources, and our site may link to third-party websites. Those third parties operate under their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices. We encourage you to review the policies of any third-party service you interact with.

8. Cookies & tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand basic usage of our site, including through analytics tools such as Google Analytics. By using the site, you consent to this limited use of cookies. You can usually control cookies through your browser settings.

We do not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals.

9. Your choices & rights

  • Access, update, or delete. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing us.
  • Marketing emails. You can unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email. Transactional and service messages may still be sent.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights — for example, California residents may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (we do not sell or share it as those terms are defined). To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@theliveframe.com, and we will honor any applicable request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

10. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above — for example, to fulfill orders, comply with tax and legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When no longer needed, we delete or de-identify the data.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Children’s privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at support@theliveframe.com.

13. U.S. only (for now)

We currently target users in the United States, and your information is processed in the U.S. If you access our services from outside the U.S., you understand that your information may be processed in the United States.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date above. Your continued use after changes means you accept the revised policy.
